CAT6 Cable Color Information

Color Code
The conductor identification shall be indicated by coloring the insulation used on each conductor of a twisted pair. The color code shall follow the industry standard color code. (Refer to IEC 60304 for appropriate colors).

Electrical performance shall comply with ISO/IEC 11801, ANSI/TIA/EIA-568B.2-1
Fire rating Requirements
UTP cable with FR LSZH jacket shall comply with the test described in IEC 60332-1.
Sheath Marking
The marking shall be ink-printed legibly on the surface of finished cable with each 1 meter interval.
Packing
The products shall meet the packaging requirements of any applicable control drawings, inspection instructions and so on provided.
‘Reel-in-Box’ Packaging Requirements Cable shall be in one continuous length, cutting or splicing lengths of cable to achieve the total required length is unacceptable.
All product packaging shall contain labeling and artwork affixed or printed upon the outside of boxes in compliance to control documentation.
Cable for ‘reel-in-box’ cable packaging is to be wound upon a plastic ‘reel-in-box’ shall contain cable length of 305meter per box.
